They should make little pills that you can swallow that expand when they get wet, so you can swallow a handful, then drink some water, and they will expand in your stomach and make you feel full. Kind of like popcorn, only with more air.

this article is all about how having a blog is bad for searching for jobs in academia. So never mind that I enjoy it, that I use it to keep in touch with friends, that a high school pal just tracked me down via my blog (I haven't emailed back yet, P.B., but I will). I may have to go incognito or give up blogging alltogether if I want to get a job. Luckily I have a year or so to think about it and to let the stuffy academic world get used to the idea of online personalities before I have to make a decision. though until then I may stop posting about anything school related. and maybe delete all my school related ones that are already up.
